DCZ BEADS & DESIGNS was founded in 2005 by Marek and Shelagh Dlouhy.

"After growing up in the Czech Republic, the forefront of glassmaking design, I was inspired to share this beautiful form of art and create unique collections of jewelry using authentic, handmade, Czech glass beads for all to enjoy.

After meeting my wife in Mississippi, who shared my passion for glass art, we set out to find the best hand made glass beads in the Czech Republic. We were very blessed to discover a very talented young couple, living near the Czech mountains ‘Krkonose’. They create some of the finest handmade glass beads we have ever seen. All of their beads are made in their home, which is a cottage that is several hundred years old.

We are proud of the fact that these beads are not mass produced but are each unique and individual. In fact, you can not find two beads exactly alike."
